About Marilyn Hall
Marilyn Hall (May 17, 1927 – June 5, 2017) was a Canadian family member best known for her marriage to the popular game show host Monty Hall. She assisted him in producing and writing his TV special Lights, Camera, Monty during their 70-year marriage.
Before fame, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and later obtained her MFA from UCLA. She also served as an associate producer for the HBO production of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes and co-authored The Celebrity Kosher Cookbook with rabbi Jerome Cutler in 1975.
She and Monty shared three children named Joanna, Sharon, and Richard.
