About Marie Digby
Marie Digby, born on April 16, 1983 in New York, is a pop singer who gained attention for her YouTube cover of Rihanna‘s “Umbrella.” She went on to release several studio albums such as Unfold, Breathing Underwater, and Winter Fields. Her songs like “Say It Again” and “Avalanche” were featured in TV series Smallville and The Hills.
Prior to her fame, she won the Pantene Pro-Voice contest with her original song “Miss Invisible” while studying at the University of California, Berkeley in 2004.
Digby has garnered popularity both in Asia and the United States. In 2012, she toured the Philippines and Singapore and released an album with Star Records label in the Philippines in 2011.
Moving to family life, Digby grew up in New York City and Los Angeles as the daughter of Matthew Digby and Japanese-born Emiko Nishina. She has two younger sisters named Erina Megan and Naomi.
