Marcia Howard is an Australian folk singer born on January 5, 1961. She is perhaps best known for her involvement in the 1970s and ’80s folk rock band Goanna. Apart from this, she has released several albums including Butterfly, Burning in the Rain, and Pearl.
Prior to gaining fame as a musician, Howard performed at local weddings alongside other members of her musical family. Notably, her band Goanna earned three Aria Awards during their career.
Howard hails from Dennington, Victoria, Australia and comes from a musical family – both her brothers Shane and Damian Howard are also musicians.
