About Maria Soledad Crousillat
Maria Soledad Crousillat, born on November 12, 1963, in Lima, Peru, is a Peruvian television producer known for her significant contributions to the industry.
Crousillat gained recognition for producing the Telethon in 2008, an event that successfully raised funds for the San Juan de Dios Clinical Home. She also served as an advisor and producer at TV Peru and produced the popular ATV series Combate.
Before stepping into the world of television production, she pursued Civil Engineering at the Catholic University of Argentina. Her career kickstarted as a production manager at America Television in 1994. In March of 2001, she ascended to become President of their Board of Directors.
In acknowledgment of her outstanding work hosting the Telethon, Crousillat was honored with the Order of Merit for Distinguished Services in the Commander Degree by President Alan Garcia in 2008.
Coming from a family deeply entrenched in television production and entrepreneurship –her father being fellow television producer Jose Enrique Crousillat– Maria Soledad Crousillat’s dedication and impact are indisputably influential within Peruvian television.
