Maria Olafs is an Icelandic pop singer who gained international recognition after representing her home country in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Unbroken”. Born on March 21, 1993, in Iceland, she released her debut EP “Unbroken” in the same year which featured singles such as “Stronger” and “Litil Skref”.
Before rising to fame as a singer, Maria attended Verzlunarskoli Islands High School and also showcased her talent by starring in stage productions at The National Theatre in Reykjavik.
She has made notable contributions to the music industry, having been a featured vocalist on the song “Hold My Hand” by Swedish singer September. Maria’s real name is Maria Olafsdottir.
