About Maggie Doyne
Maggie Doyne (born November 7, 1986) is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist known for her work in founding the BlinkNow Foundation. The foundation provides education, health care, and food to impoverished women and children in the Kopila Valley of Nepal.
Before gaining recognition as a philanthropist, Doyne first visited Nepal after graduating from high school in 2005. It was during this trip that she met a young girl named Hema and helped her attend school and purchase supplies. This experience inspired Doyne to purchase land in the Kopila Valley, where she would eventually establish her foundation.
Doyne’s efforts led to the creation of the Kopila Valley Children’s Home and School, which provides care and education for children without families. As of 2015, more than 50 children were living at the home under Doyne’s legal guardianship. Additionally, she developed a community women’s center and health clinic to further support those in need.
Born in New Jersey to Steve and Nancy Doyne, Maggie grew up with her sisters Kate and Libby.
