Magdyel Ugaz (born July 13, 1984) is a Peruvian actress and television host known for her diverse roles in film and television. Born in Lima, Peru, she first pursued acting at the age of thirteen by enrolling in a workshop at the National University of Engineering.
Ugaz made her television debut on the series Mil Oficios and gained further attention playing Dina Paucar in a miniseries about Paucar’s life called La Lucha por un Sueno in 2004. She has since appeared in various productions, including the 2006 film Black Butterfly for which she won the Best Actress award at the International Iberoamerican Festival of Ceara.
One of her most recognizable roles has been on the series Al Fondo Hay Sitio, where she appeared in more than 1800 episodes throughout her ongoing career. Additionally, Ugaz was featured as a guest judge on El Gran Show, a popular dancing reality series.
Beyond her acting success, Magdyel Ugaz has garnered over 1.6 million followers on Instagram where she shares modeling content and updates about her life. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru and was previously involved with Moises Vega.
