About Magdalena Forsberg
Magdalena Forsberg is a Swedish cross-country skier and biathlete who was born on July 25, 1967. She gained recognition for winning bronze medals in the women’s 7.5-kilometer sprint and women’s 15-kilometer events at the 2002 Olympics. Forsberg began her competitive career as a cross-country skier in 1988, and she went on to win the gold medal in the women’s 15-kilometer event at the 2001 World Championships.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Forsberg married fellow cross-country skier and biathlete Henrik Forsberg in 1996.
