About Madi Davis
Madi Davis is a folk singer and songwriter, known for her appearance on season 9 of NBC’s The Voice. Born in Texas on January 23, 1999, Davis had to overcome severe hearing difficulties as a child and underwent an operation at the age of seven to correct it. This experience sparked her love for music, leading her to join a children’s choir in Dallas.
Prior to gaining recognition on The Voice, Davis released her second EP titled What I Know on iTunes and Spotify. She also shared some of her original songs online before auditioning for the show.
Davis attended school before deciding to focus more on music and transitioning to homeschooling. Her family has been integral in supporting her pursuit of music, with her parents accompanying her to auditions and live performances alongside her brother.
