About Luiza Tome
Luiza Tome (born May 10, 1961) is a Brazilian TV actress known for her roles in various Globo telenovelas during the 1990s and early 2000s. She gained widespread recognition for her recurring characters such as Tereza Castro in the 2006 series Cidadao Brasileiro and Stella Maris Diniz in the 2007 series Luz do Sol.
Tome’s television career began with a minor nonspeaking role in the telenovela Dancin’ Days on the Globo Network. However, it was her performance in the telenovela Tieta in 1989 that propelled her to fame and popularity.
In addition to her acting work, Tome was featured on the cover of Playboy Brazil in December of 1993. She hails from Itapipoca, Brazil, where she also raised three children: Bruno, Adriana, and Luigi.
