About Lucy St Louis
Lucy St Louis is an American stage actress, born on October 26, 1992. In 2021, she made history as the first black performer to portray Christine Daae in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera. She also played the role of Glinda in Wicked on the West End and appeared as a debutante in the 2017 film Beauty and the Beast. Her other notable performances include roles as Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Guenevere in Camelot in Concert, and Little Eva in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
St Louis began her vocal training at age seven and left school at sixteen to pursue a career in performing arts. In 2012, she graduated from Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, England and later that year made her West End debut as part of Ragtime ensemble at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
In family life, Lucy St Louis married musical director and choreographer Ben Clare at Villa Balbianello on Lake Como in 2018.
