Lucy Porter (born January 27, 1973) is an English stand-up comedian and actress, hailing from Croydon, England. She is best known for her performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for her work as a panelist on shows such as Quote… Unquote and The Personality Test.
Prior to her comedy career, Porter earned a degree in English literature from Manchester University and worked as a journalist for The Big Issue. Notably, she has also made a name for herself as a screenwriter, having written for Parsons and Naylor’s Pull-Out Sections and Anthea Turner: Perfect Housewife.
Porter is married to fellow actor and comedian Justin Edwards, with whom she shares two children.
