Becky G, born on March 2, 1997 in Inglewood, California, is a Mexican-American pop singer, rapper and actress. She gained fame with the hit song “Shower” in 2014 and found success in the Spanish-speaking market with singles like “Mayores” featuring Bad Bunny and “Sin Pijama” with Natti Natasha. Becky also starred as Trini in the 2017 film Power Rangers.
Prior to her rise to stardom, she began experimenting with rap music at age 12 and was discovered after uploading YouTube videos in 2011. Her debut single “Becky from the Block,” released in 2013, featured Jennifer Lopez in its music video.
