Luara Hayrapetyan (born September 29, 1997) is a Russian-born pop singer, songwriter, and dancer. She gained international recognition when her single “Barcelona” tied for second place at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 as a representative of Armenia. Following this success, she released singles “Fire in Me” and “Story” in 2013.
Hayrapetyan began singing at the age of four and received training at the children’s music studio Vesnushki where she became the lead soloist. In 2008, she won the Grand Prix award as the overall champion of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Children’s Contest.
Born in Astrakhan, Russia, Hayrapetyan was raised in Kapan, Armenia before moving to Los Angeles with her parents in 2011.
