About Lougee Basabas
Lougee Basabas, born on October 24, 1984, in Manila, Philippines, is a rock singer known for her tenure as the lead vocalist of the Filipino alt-rock band MOJOFLY. Following her departure from the group in 2007, she went on to establish the band Delara and participated as a contestant on season two of The Voice of the Philippines.
Prior to gaining fame with MOJOFLY, Basabas kickstarted her career as a teenage model at age 14 and appeared in various advertising campaigns. In addition to this, she was also associated with the teen pop group Kaya before joining MOJOFLY.
Besides her musical pursuits, Basabas has showcased her versatility by hosting the popular Filipino variety show Eat Bulaga!. Furthermore, she married musician Ali Alejandro in 2015.
