Lisi Harrison, born on July 29, 1970 in Toronto, Canada, is a Canadian young adult author known for her popular book series: The Clique, Alphas, and Monster High.
Before pursuing her writing career, Harrison attended Hebrew school in Toronto before moving to Montreal to study film at McGill University.
She worked at MTV in New York City for 12 years. Her experiences there served as the inspiration behind her bestselling series The Clique.
In 2002 she married Kevin Harrison and they have two sons named Jesse and Luke.
