About Lisa Ellis
Lisa Ellis, born on November 15, 1982 in Woodinville, Washington, is a well-known MMA fighter who has competed for Bellator and the UFC. She rose to prominence as a member of the Ultimate Fighter: Team Pettis vs. Team Melendez and has secured victories in 15 of her first 25 bouts.
Before gaining fame as an MMA fighter, Ellis made her debut for HOOKnSHOOT in 2004. Notably, three out of her first four fights took place with this company, resulting in a 1-2 record. Her breakthrough moment came when she submitted Jessica Aguilar in the fifth fight of her career; noteworthy as Aguilar went on to become the World Series of Fighting Strawweight Champion.
Aside from her successful career in MMA, Lisa Ellis co-owns a gym in Washington with Eddy Ellis whom she married in 2010. The couple welcomed their first daughter into the world in 2013.
