Linda Marlowe, born on July 26, 1940 in Australia, is a notable soap opera actress. She gained recognition for her role as Sylvie Carter in the popular British soap opera EastEnders. In addition to her soap opera work, she has also appeared in miniseries such as Family (2003), Jekyll (2007), and She’s Out (1995).
Marlowe began her career with a big screen debut in the 1963 thriller Impact and later appeared in an episode of the television series The Third Man that same year. She also secured a small role in the 2011 feature film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Born Linda Bathurst, she grew up in Australia before eventually settling and working in England.
