Lexie Brown is an American professional basketball player born on October 27, 1994, in Boston, Massachusetts. She is best known for her role as a point guard with the Connecticut Sun of the Women’s National Basketball Association and her collegiate career at Duke University.
Brown’s basketball journey began during her freshman year of high school, where she contributed to her team achieving its first-ever undefeated regular season. She then attended the University of Maryland and helped propel her team to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament in her freshman year before transferring to Duke University.
In 2018, Brown was drafted by the Connecticut Sun as the 9th overall pick in the WNBA draft. In addition to her professional success, she also earned recognition for winning the McDonald’s All-American award in 2013 for exceptional playing ability.
Lexie comes from a family with deep roots in basketball; her father Dee Brown had a twelve-year career with the Boston Celtics.
