She began her career as Young Nala in Disney’s National Tour of The Lion King before transitioning to the Broadway version. Underwood then transitioned to screen acting, appearing on popular shows like Henry Danger, Code Black, and Person of Interest.
Underwood displayed a passion for performance at a young age, starting ballet classes at four years old and later taking up acting lessons. In 2016, she worked as a kid red carpet reporter on FTS Kids News. Currently, Underwood stars as Kira King in Disney’s Sneakerella alongside Chosen Jacobs and Devyn Nekoda. Additionally, she portrays Malia Obama in Showtime’s “The First Lady.”
