About Lee Ji-sun
Lee Ji-sun was born on April 6, 1983, in South Korea. She is best known for her victory in the 2007 Miss Korea pageant and her participation in the Miss Universe 2008 competition. In addition to her modeling career, she also serves as a Peace Ambassador with the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and has made a brief visit to North Korea.
Prior to achieving fame, Lee succeeded model and television personality Lee Ha-nui as Miss Korea. In preparation for the Miss Universe pageant, she received training from Ines Ligron, a French fashion authority and director of Miss Universe Japan.
Lee grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and later pursued her studies at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City.
