Laura Kirkpatrick is a reality star, model, and entrepreneur born on June 12, 1989 in Stanford, Kentucky. She gained prominence as the runner-up of Cycle 13 on The CW’s America’s Next Top Model and also appeared as a contestant on Cycle 17. Additionally, she designs urban T-shirts for her company Grumbages.
Prior to her television career, Kirkpatrick was an art major at Eastern Kentucky University. She joined America’s Next Top Model at the age of 19 and had to miss her final exams due to the show, ultimately not completing her freshman year.
Despite being only five feet and seven inches tall—considered too short for professional modeling—Kirkpatrick participated in cycle 13 because it was the “Petite Edition” of the show exclusively seeking women who met that height requirement.
