Aari McDonald is a professional basketball player born on August 20, 1998, in California. She is best known for her time playing on the University of Arizona women’s team and for being named a finalist for the U19 U.S. World Cup Team.
McDonald began her athletic career at a young age when she joined the Amateur Athletic Union. Before focusing on basketball, she also participated in volleyball and track.
Notably, McDonald transferred to the University of Arizona from the University of Washington, where she had been the basketball team’s third-leading scorer with an average of 9.8 points per game. During the 2021 NCAA Tournament, she achieved an impressive average of 24.8 points.
