Lady Bunny, born on August 14, 1962 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a drag queen and actress best known for her appearance in the low-budget film “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything!”. Before gaining fame as a movie actress, she was a popular entertainer in Atlanta’s gay scene and had roles in several low-budget LGBT and adult films.
Lady Bunny is also known for organizing the annual Wigstock festival in New York City which celebrates drag queen and gay culture. The event takes place every Labor Day.
She was born Jon Ingle in Chattanooga before ascending to stardom.
