About Kristine Hermosa
Kristine Hermosa, born on September 9, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines, is a well-known soap opera actress. She gained fame for her role as Yna Macaspac in the popular primetime drama series Pangako Sa ‘Yo.
Hermosa was discovered at the age of 12 accompanying her older sister to an audition for ABS-CBN network and earned her first part in the 1998 drama series Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako.
In 2001, she was recognized as Best Young Actress and Most Promising Female Performer by Parangal ng Bayan. Hermosa comes from a family of four children; her elder sister Kathleen is also involved in performing arts. Kristine has been married twice – first to Diether Ocampo from 2004 to 2009 and later to actor Oyo Boy Sotto in 2011. She is a mother of three children.
