Kristen Vigard, born on May 15, 1963 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is a renowned soap opera actress and rock/pop singer. She gained fame for her role as Morgan Richards on CBS’s Guiding Light and also worked as a backup vocalist for popular bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fishbone. In addition to her work in television and music, she has appeared in Broadway productions like Hair (1977) and I Remember Mama (1979). Prior to her rise to stardom, Vigard showcased her talent in musical theater from an early age and was affiliated with the Ford Modeling Agency’s children’s department.
Interesting trivia about Vigard includes being initially cast as Annie in the first regional production of the musical before being replaced by Andrea McArdle. Although she spent most of her childhood years in New York City, she later settled down with her husband and daughter Emily Rose in New Mexico.
