About KITTENS
KITTENS, born on October 7, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, is a hip-hop DJ and member of the music collective Athletixx. Known for her performances as a top female DJ, she has been recognized by Source Magazine as one of their “25 Women To Watch” in 2014. KITTENS has traveled to Western Europe and visited cities such as Paris.
Before gaining fame as a DJ, KITTENS was raised in a musical environment, attending jazz festivals from an early age. She also filmed deejaying tutorials for Beatport in 2016.
Her real name is Lauren Abedini and she hails from a family with ties to legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
