Kinessa Johnson (born December 28, 1985) is an activist and poaching hunter known for her involvement with the VETPAW and AWPF groups in Tanzania. Originally from Louisiana, she gained attention for her conservation efforts and travels through Instagram where she has amassed over 110,000 followers.
Before dedicating herself to activism, Johnson served as a US soldier with the Army in Afghanistan as a diesel mechanic. Her initial recognition came from sharing photos of her hunting and activism work on Instagram.
Aside from her conservation work, Kinessa serves as an ambassador and influencer for multiple brands that she promotes through her social media platform including Savage Barbel weights, Renaissance Periodization, and King Kong Fitness Apparel.
