About Kina Malpartida
Kina Malpartida is a Peruvian professional boxer born on March 25, 1980 in Lima, Peru. She is known for her achievements as the Super Featherweight WBA World Title holder from February 2009 to October 2013.
Prior to her boxing career, Kina was also the Peruvian champion at the Women’s Open World Surfing Championship. She grew up playing various sports including basketball, soccer and tennis.
In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Kina received the Global Leadership Award from the Latin Business Association in July 2009. Her family includes her younger brother Alvaro who is a professional surfer and her mother Susy who is a former supermodel.
