About Kimberly Goss
Kimberly Goss, born on February 15, 1978 in California, is a metal singer and keyboardist known for her work with prominent bands such as Dimmu-Borgir and Children of Bodom. Before gaining fame, she started her career singing for the band Avernus at the age of fifteen and also wrote her own underground metal fanzine where she interviewed notable figures in the genre.
Additionally, Goss has contributed music to television shows aired on networks like SyFy and wrote a monthly column for Burnn!, Japan’s most popular music magazine. In 2000, she married Children of Bodom guitarist and vocalist Alexi Laiho before their separation in 2004. Despite their split, they remained together until his passing in 2020.
