About Kim Sung-hee
Kim Sung-hee, born on May 17, 1989 in Seoul, South Korea, is a pop singer who rose to fame in 2007 as a brief member of the girl band Kara. The following year, she left the group due to her dedicated religious beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness.
Prior to her music career, Sung-hee attended Goo Jung High School and pursued vocal studies at university. She married fellow Jehovah’s Witness Yang Won Joon in 2011.
Kara debuted in 2007 with their first album “The First Blooming.”
