About Katja Burkard
Katja Burkard is a German journalist and television presenter, known for her work on shows such as Grill den Henssler and Promi Shopping Queen. Born on April 21, 1965 in Germany, she also has a career as a children’s book author with publications like “Rundherum und hin und her – Zahneputzen ist nicht schwer.”
Prior to her television career, Burkard studied German and Political Science at Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium Westerburg. She began her journalism career as an editor for Goldene Gesundheit before becoming a reporter for the RTL-News network.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Burkard also competed on the reality television series Let’s Dance on RTL. She is married to journalist Hans Mahr and the couple has two daughters.
