About Katie Griffin
Katie Griffin is a Canadian voice actress and singer, born on January 14, 1973 in Canada. Known for her work in television and feature films, she has voiced iconic characters such as Sailor Mars in the English dub of Sailor Moon and Alex in the series Totally Spies!. Griffin discovered her passion for acting at a young age, performing in school plays before catching the attention of an agent at the Ryerson Theatre at fifteen. She later pursued her education at Ryerson University and officially began her career as a voice actress with her role in Sailor Moor R the Movie: The Promise of the Rose.
In recognition of her talent, Griffin was nominated for Best Performance in an Animated Program or Series for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs at the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards. Hailing from Scarborough, Ontario, she was raised by a mother who was a teacher and a father who worked as an air traffic controller.
