About Kathryn Walker
Kathryn Walker (born January 9, 1943 in Pennsylvania) is a stage actress known for her notable roles in the 1980s Broadway productions of Private Lives, Wild Honey, The Good Doctor, and A Touch of the Poet. She also appeared in films such as Slap Shot and D.A.R.Y.L.
Walker graduated from New York’s Wells College with an honors degree in drama and music before receiving a Fulbright Scholarship. In addition to her acting career, she is also known for her debut novel “A Stopover in Venice”, published in 2008.
She had a long-term relationship with screenwriter Douglas Kenney until his death in 1980. Later on, she married Grammy-winning singer and songwriter James Taylor; their marriage lasted from 1985 until 1995.
