Kate Mulvany (born February 24, 1978) is an Australian stage actress and award-winning playwright. She hails from Geraldton, Australia and has received acclaim for her work in both theater and film.
Mulvany rose to prominence after winning the Philip Parsons Young Playwrights Award for her play The Seed. She further solidified her status as a talented performer by earning the prestigious Helpmann Award for Best Female Actor in a Play for her role in Richard 3.
Beyond the stage, Mulvany has showcased her acting prowess on screen, appearing in notable productions such as the 2013 movie The Great Gatsby and the 2020 TV series Hunters.
Before achieving fame as an artist, Mulvany faced significant personal challenges.
