Kate Mulleavy is a renowned American fashion designer, born on February 11, 1982, in California. She is best known for co-founding the luxury clothing label Rodarte.
Before gaining fame as a fashion designer, Kate co-founded Rodarte in Pasadena, California in 2005 and subsequently moved to New York City the following year.
Throughout her career, she has earned numerous accolades for her work in the fashion industry, including the Legend of Fashion Award and the CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award.
In addition to her work in fashion design, Kate Mulleavy also delved into costume design by creating ballet costumes for Darren Aronofsky’s Oscar-winning film Black Swan released in 2009.
