About Kate Markgraf
Kate Markgraf is a former professional soccer player who was born on August 23, 1976 in Michigan. She played as a defender for several teams during her career, including the Boston Breakers, KIF Orebro-DFF, Michigan Hawks, and Chicago Red Stars from 2001 to 2010.
Prior to her professional career, Markgraf played college soccer for Notre Dame from 1995 to 1998. During her time there, she won an NCAA Championship and was named NCAA Championship Defensive MVP in 1995.
Markgraf also had a successful international career, representing the United States national team in over 200 games from 1998 to 2010.
She married Chris Markgraf on October 31, 2003.
