Karissa Bodnar, born on July 9, 1988 in the United States, is an entrepreneur known for her work in the cosmetics industry. She is the creator of Thrive Cosmetics, a luxury makeup company whose products have been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, ABC News and more.
Prior to launching Thrive Cosmetics, Bodnar attended the University of Washington and worked as a product developer for L’Oreal. Tragically losing a close friend to cancer inspired her to manufacture products specifically designed for women experiencing the effects of chemotherapy.
Notably, Bodnar’s mother was a professional tennis player.
