About Karen Berg
Karen Berg is an influential self-help author and spiritual leader, best known for her work in Kabbalah. She was born on October 17, 1942 in the United States.
Before gaining recognition as a best-selling author and Kabbalah teacher, Karen faced childhood challenges related to frequent school changes and difficulty reading and writing. She defied societal norms by studying Kabbalah at a time when women were prohibited from doing so.
Some of Karen’s notable published works include “God Wears Lipstick,” “Simple Light” and “To Be Continued: Reincarnation & the Purpose of Our Lives.” Throughout her career, she served as the Spiritual Director at The Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles, California.
Beyond her literary contributions, Karen initiated Kids Creating Peace – an organization that fosters collaboration between Israeli and Palestinian children living in war-torn regions. In her personal life, she married fellow Kabbalah instructor Rav Berg; their son Michael also followed a similar path as a Kabbalah instructor himself.
