About Juri Takahashi
Juri Takahashi, known mononymously as Juri, is a Japanese pop singer born on October 3, 1997, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. She began her career by passing the 12th generation auditions for AKB48 in February of 2011 and went on to perform with the group until 2019.
During her time with AKB48, she became the captain of Team B and gained recognition for her talents. In 2018, she also appeared on the reality survival series Produce 48 where she ranked 16th. Juri later debuted with the girl group Rocket Punch after graduating from AKB48.
Besides her music career, Juri has also appeared in various generations of the television drama Majisuka Gakuen. Her journey as a pop singer has brought attention to her both in Japan and internationally.
