About Juliette Bossu

Juliette Bossu (born January 8, 2000) is a retired elite French gymnast from Mulhouse, France. She achieved recognition for representing France at the European Youth Olympic Festival, European Championships, and World Championships. Bossu is a two-time gold medalist at the 2016 and 2017 French Gymnastics Championships and has appeared at four national championships where she won a total of five medals. Notably, in 2018 she won silver in artistic gymnastics at the European Championships held in Glasgow.

Bossu’s specialties in gymnastics were uneven bars and floor exercises. She announced her retirement from the sport via her Instagram account on August 10, 2019.

Prior to her retirement, Juliette Bossu began training as a gymnast at age two through participation in a ‘Babygym’ class. Continuing her journey, Bossu trained under Monique and Eric Haggard at Pole France St. Etienne before competing at her first French National Championships in 2014 where she placed sixth in the all-around category.

Following her retirement from competitive gymnastics, Bossu relocated to the United States to work as an au pair while pursuing college classes. Outside of athletics and academics, she enjoys reading, traveling, socializing with family and friends.

Juliette Bossu is fluent in English, French, and Swedish due to being born into a family of Swedish origins based in France.
