Julie Nixon Eisenhower is an American public figure and author, born on July 5, 1948 in Washington, DC. She is best known as the daughter of President Richard Nixon and the granddaughter-in-law of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Julie co-authored the book “Going Home to Glory: A Memoir of Life with Dwight D. Eisenhower” and worked as the assistant editor of the Saturday Evening Post during the 1970s.
Prior to her fame, she was involved in her father’s political career and toured with her mother giving speeches on children’s issues during his presidency. Julie graduated from Smith College and Catholic University before marrying David Eisenhower in 1968. The couple has three children: Jennie, Alexander, and Melanie.
