Julie McWhirter (born October 12, 1947) is an American voice actress best known for her role as the voice of Kanga in “Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore.” She was born in Indiana and graduated from Depauw University with a degree in speech.
Prior to her fame, McWhirter has done numerous voiceovers for Hanna-Barbera cartoons. In 1977, she married disc jockey Rick Dees.
