About Juliane Wurm
Juliane Wurm (born December 15, 1990) is a German professional mountain climber, known for her expertise in bouldering, lead climbing, and speed climbing.
Wurm gained attention after winning multiple World Championships in each discipline of the sport, including the Bouldering World Championship in Munich in 2014.
Before gaining international recognition, Wurm developed a passion for climbing at an early age and became the youngest German champion at just 16 years old. She specialized in lead, speed, and bouldering while competing for the DAV section Wuppertal before achieving European championship status in bouldering at Innsbruck in 2015.
In addition to her world-class achievements, Wurm has secured numerous accolades from lead, speed, and bouldering events. Notably earning first place at the Boulder World Cup held in Innsbruck (2013) and Chongqing (2014), she also dominated the German Championships from 2006 to 2010.
Born and raised in Halle Saale Germany Juliane’s love of mountain climbing continues to inspire others globally through her dedication and accomplishments within this challenging sport.
