About Julia Jarman
Julia Jarman (born March 28, 1946) is an English children’s author known for her popular series The Time-Travelling Cat, which debuted in 1992. She is also famous for creating “Georgie,” a beloved character in children’s literature. Before gaining fame as a writer, she attended Manchester University where she studied English and Drama. Her debut work, When Poppy Ran Away, was published in 1985.
Notable titles include Georgie and the Dragon, Georgie and the Planet Raiders, and Georgie and the Computer Bugs. Julia Jarman was born with the birth name Julia Hudspeth to parents residing in Peterborough, England at the time of her birth.
