Joy Nash is an American TV actress known for her role as Plum Kettle on the AMC TV drama Dietland. Born on August 5, 1980 in the United States, she gained widespread recognition after earning a Webby Award for her viral video “A Fat Rant” in 2007.
Prior to her acting career, Nash earned a B.A. with honors in sociolinguistics and theater from the University of Southern California. She has also guest starred as Simone on two episodes of The Mindy Project and appeared in Twin Peaks in 2017.
