About Josefina Monasterio
Josefina Monasterio, born on April 16, 1946, in Venezuela, is a renowned bodybuilder known for her remarkable dedication to the sport. She gained attention for entering the world of bodybuilding at the age of 59 and has since become a multiple-time NPC Southern States Champion as well as an inductee into the NPC Southern States Hall of Fame.
Prior to her bodybuilding career, Monasterio honed her physical abilities through gymnastics during her upbringing in Venezuela while also earning a degree in physical education. In addition to her athletic pursuits, she is also an author and penned an autobiography titled “Vibrant at Any Age,” chronicling her fitness journey and experiences.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Josefina Monasterio is a mother to two daughters.
