About Jodi DiPiazza
Jodi DiPiazza, born on October 3, 2001 in New Jersey, is a pop singer. She gained recognition as a three-time finalist at the ASCAP Young Composers Awards in 2012, 2013 and 2014. DiPiazza rose to national prominence for her duet with Katy Perry on The Night of Too Many Stars at NYC’s Beacon Theatre in October of 2012, with the performance being featured in numerous publications worldwide.
Diagnosed with Autism at age two, she attended the Alpine Learning Group specialized in Autism Education. Upon graduation from the school, she wrote and recorded “Alpine Learning Group.” At nine years old in 2010, Jodi wrote and performed “Heroes of Autism” for Toys R Us as part of a fundraiser for Autism Speaks that raised over $3 million.
Her family includes her father Tom; mother Michelle; brothers Michael and John-Paul. Notably her aunt Diane DiPiazza was a bass player for The Misfits band.
