About Jo Elvin
Jo Elvin was born on February 21, 1971 in England. She is a journalist and is best known for being the first editor of Glamour UK Magazine. In addition to her editorial work, she has also appeared on television as the host of The Great British Hairdresser for E4.
Prior to her rise to prominence, Elvin began her career in journalism and editing at Dolly Magazine in Australia. She later worked as a publicist for Neighbors before moving to the United Kingdom. After stints at TV Hits and Sugar Magazine, she took over as the head of Glamour’s UK department in 2001.
Throughout her career, Elvin has received numerous accolades including Consumer Magazine of the Year and five Editor of the Year Awards from the BSME for her work with Glamour Magazine.
In March 2017, she shared an Instagram post featuring her daughter.
