Jo-Ann Strauss, born on February 3, 1981, in Cape Town, South Africa, is a well-known TV show host and former model. She gained recognition as the representative of South Africa at the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants in 2001. Following her success in pageantry, she ventured into hosting entertainment shows such as Top Billing and initiated the charitable organization Princess Project.
Prior to her illustrious career, Jo-Ann earned a bachelor’s degree from Stellenbosch University. Additionally, she presented the opening ceremony for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa for the German network ZDF.
In 2012, Jo-Ann married Michael Held.
